1. This agreement (Agreement) is between you (Customer Member) and Taffa’s Mitre 10 (Store) for the Taffa’s Mitre 10 Rewards Program (Program).

2. An individual personal customer (not a trader, body corporate – i.e. company – or business) may become a member of the Program by completing and returning the application form and being issued with a Taffa’s Mitre 10 Rewards card (Card). The Store may refuse to accept a person as a member of the Program at its discretion.

3. Application for and use of the Program indicates Customer Member agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions, as varied from time to time, and any terms and conditions issued by the Store (available on request). If you do not wish to accept these conditions, please return the Card to Store.

4. Taffa’s Mitre 10 Rewards Points (Points) will be earned for purchases made ONLY at the Store, on presentation of your Card. Points are earned on every FULL dollar spent. This excludes purchases of and purchases made with gift cards. Points you accumulate will not expire. Bonus Points will be offered on selected merchandise from time to time.

5. To earn Points for a transaction the Card must be presented/entered at the register/checkout at the time of the transaction, otherwise the Customer Member details cannot be captured and Points cannot be allocated. Points cannot be claimed for retrospective purchases.

6. Points can be redeemed ONLY at the Store, on presentation of your Card. There is no minimum number of Points required before you can redeem. Redemptions can be made in increments of cents. To redeem your Points, present your Card and any further identification requested when you make your purchase at the Store. Points cannot be redeemed for cash.

7. If you obtain a refund for any goods purchased where you have earned Points, the total amount of Points earned will be deducted from your Store account.

8. The Card is issued by and remains the property of the Store. The Store reserves the right to withdraw the Card at any time and the Store will not be liable for any loss arising from the withdrawal of the Card.

9. The Card is not a credit card or charge card, is not transferable (except that the Customer Member may permit their immediate family to use the Card), and remains the property of the Store.

10. The Store reserves the right to charge an administration fee of $5.00 + GST for any replacement cards issued for a member account.

11. The Store has the right to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the Program at any time without prior notification.

12. The Store retains the right to terminate their participation in the Program at any time and the earning and redeeming of Points cannot be guaranteed on an ongoing basis. If this occurs, the Store will give you 2 months’ notice of the close down of the Program. If you do not redeem your available Points within that period they will expire.

13. Membership in the Program will be cancelled immediately and all accumulated Points will be forfeited if a Customer Member is apprehended shoplifting or defrauding the Program or any participating organisation in any way.

14. To the extent permitted by law, the Program will not be liable for any errors, omissions, delays or disruptions in the operation of the Program and will not be liable for any loss resulting from any errors, omissions, delays or disruptions in the operation of the Program.

15. The Store reserves the right to adjust the Points accrued that have resulted from operator error, computer error and/or fraud or any other reason beyond the control of the Store.

16. It is the Customer Member's responsibility to notify the Store of any change of address or membership details of that member. You may contact or visit us at Taffa’s Mitre 10. The Store will not be liable for any loss of Points arising from the time taken to replace a lost or stolen Card.

17. The Program is operated by Taffa’s Hardware Pty. Ltd. and is NOT part of Mitre 10 Australia Pty. Ltd. or its affiliate companies.

8. Kooyoo Technology Pty. Ltd. (Codemaster) provides software and web services to the Store and any rewards or offers provided on the website or in communications from the Store, are the entire responsibility of the Store.
